Ordering Instructions
Members of MSRON Wave 11 have access to these exclusive, individually customized by Quinn Knives, Ka-Bar Becker BKR18BK Harpoons. If you are a member of MSRON Wave 11 and would like one of these, please do the following:

1. Add knife to cart
2. Proceed to cart and enter discount code "MSRON" to waive shipping charge (initial batch will be hand delivered en masse)
3. Proceed to next screen and follow instructions (create account, payment info, etc)
4. In the "Notes" section of the check out provide the following information for your customization
   - Line 1: RANK or RATE First Name Last Name
   - Line 2: Billet Title or Callsign (you choose, one or the other, not both)

Once the payment has processed, your knife will be ordered, created, and placed in queue for delivery prior to AOR push. Please contact [email protected] with any questions regarding your knife order.

The initial ordering window will be open from 2/18 thru 3/4.

Customization:
The left side of the knife will be laser engraved with your Rank or Rate + First Name Last Name, Billet Title or Callsign, and MSRON 11 FWD 2025. The right side will feature shark artwork and the quote "Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, & begin slitting throats."

About the Ka-Bar Becker Harpoon:
Designed by Ethan Becker, the USA-made BK18 Harpoon is designed to be a hard-use knife that is equally at home in the field, on deployment, or around the campsite. The American-made Celcon sheath is MOLLE compatible, allowing for versatile mounting options, while the retention strap ensures the knife stays put even on the roughest seas. The blade is constructed of 1095 steel, which is a well-proven survival knife metal known for its edge strength and overall toughness. Like all carbon steels, 1095 appreciates being dried off after water-ops and a coating of penetrating oil (gun oil) periodically will help keep corrosion at bay.

About 1095 Steel:
A high-carbon steel known for its exceptional hardness and ability to hold a sharp edge for extended periods. It is widely used in knives, swords, and cutting tools, making it a favorite among craftsmen and bladesmiths. With proper heat treatment, it achieves excellent strength and durability, making it ideal for high-performance applications.

Note:
Traction coatings on blades (black coating) will wear over time depending on usage. This is normal, and dependent on individual use. Abrasive use = more wear.
