What Zanutto Customs says:
"Thank you for supporting my art, I hope you enjoy your new handmade knife as much as I enjoyed hand crafting it for you." - EZ

DS93X Damasteel
A high-performance stainless Damascus steel known for its unique pattern and exceptional strength. It is made using a proprietary powder metallurgy process that combines two stainless steel grades, creating a material with excellent corrosion resistance and edge retention. The distinctive swirling patterns of DS93X are highly sought after for luxury knives, watches, and jewelry, offering both aesthetic appeal and functional durability.

6AL4V Titanium
Also known as Grade 5 titanium, 6AL4V titanium is an alloy composed of 90% titanium, 6% aluminum, and 4% vanadium, offering an excellent balance of strength, lightweight, and corrosion resistance. It is widely used in aerospace, medical devices, and high-performance sporting equipment due to its high tensile strength and ability to withstand extreme temperatures. The alloy's unique properties make it a popular choice for demanding applications where weight reduction and durability are crucial.

Ultem
A high-performance thermoplastic known for its exceptional strength, heat resistance, and chemical stability. It is an amorphous polymer belonging to the polyetherimide (PEI) family, making it ideal for demanding applications like aerospace, medical devices, and electronics, where durability under extreme conditions is required. Ultem's transparency and ability to withstand continuous use at high temperatures also make it suitable for various industrial components and structural parts.

Quinn Knives' take:

Eric Zanutto started making knives with traditional friction folders before quickly diving into the deep end of the pool with hand-crafted titanium framelocks. We were immediately impressed and he's quickly found a following of fellow knife enthusiasts who agree. Eric's custom folders are all made in his home workshop, hand-milled, and built with the attention to detail you'd expect from an aerospace engineer. EZ's custom titanium folders have found their way into the pockets of more than one Quinn Knives' staffer...

This particular model features wave Damasteel (the same Damasteel Benchmade uses on their Gold Class knives) mated to a ultem and titanium handle.
